Learning Partners – Advancing Your Dog’s Training Journey
Learning Partners is the next step for owners who want to move beyond foundation training and create reliable, real-world responses from their dog. This course builds on foundation skills and focuses on strengthening communication, impulse control, and confidence through carefully structured exercises. Training places particular emphasis on increasing distance, duration, and distractions, allowing dogs to learn how to maintain behaviours even when environments become more challenging.
Owners are guided on how to support their dog through progressive challenges, helping to proof skill sets such as focus, recalls, lead work, and calm engagement around everyday distractions. The result is a dog that can respond more consistently and confidently in real-life situations, making walks, outings, and shared activities more enjoyable and stress-free. Learning Partners also provides the essential preparation for progression into our EDTUK Partnership Grades programmes.
